Climate Change and Renewable Energy Sources

Nowadays almost everyone realises that climate change and global warming are real, from the political leaders to the most eminent scientists in the world. We all need to make an effort to reduce waste accumulation and the cost of waste clearance. If we reduce the amount of waste that is sent to the landfills we will reduce greenhouse gas emissions. We can lower our contribution to global warming by making waste removal cost-effective and efficient.

We can use waste recycling as a weapon against global warming and it is easy for all of us to take part in the fight against climate change.

Recycling reduces carbon emissions from landfills, it saves energy, it can reduce deforestation and produce more energy-efficient products. Such benefits cannot be achieved only with the existing infrastructure and technology, but the community has to participate in the process.

Instead of throwing away materials such as plastic ,glass, aluminium and paper and sending them for rubbish disposal we can recycle them and give the items made of them a new lease of life. Another way to prevent global warming is by reusing the stuff we have already produced. This way we will not have to invest money and resources in the production of new materials. This will make waste clearance much more efficient and easier.

Why is waste recycling so important? According to the latest studies, landfills and deforestation account for about 25% of the world's greenhouse gas emissions per year. If people reduce their waste clearance jobs to a minimum, then we will reduce greenhouse gas emissions with more than 25% thus reducing our contribution to global warming.

If we are all dedicated to recycling the waste we produce, we will keep the environment clean and healthy.
